RiseSmart grew from humble beginnings to gain an impressive roster of Fortune 500 customers and receive backing from major venture capital investors in Silicon Valley. RiseSmart, now one of the world’s fastest-growing outplacement firms, was led by Mr. Sathe as CEO and President from startup until its acquisition for $100M by Randstad, a $23 billion leading Global HR services provider.

Mr. Sathe founded RiseSmart after more than two decades in marketing and general management, leading successful sales and marketing organizations domestically and internationally for more than 20 years. He has specialized in product marketing, CRM, loyalty programs, branding, marketing communications, public relations, and strategic alliance initiatives for information management, telecom, banking, airline, and technology companies.

Apart from being an active angel investor and advisor to several startups, Mr. Sathe is also a Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley, and an Investor & Mentor of TiE Launchpad SV. He is likewise an active supporter of the American India Foundation and the Akshaya Patra Foundation.

Mr. Sathe holds a Master of Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, Philippines, and has also completed an executive education program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Sarthe serves on the board of the AIM Alumni Association, and is a recipient of AIM’s Triple A Distinguished Alumni achievement award. He has also been recognized as one of 2016's Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business in the US.
