Academic Operations Associate

Description

The Academic Operations Associate contributes to the regular operations required to complete the Office of the Dean’s tasks in the online and digital platforms; assists the Learning Technology Manager in order to seamlessly deliver learning technology activities within AIM; and helps in facilitating innovation towards the improvement of the team’s services, activities and overall work environment.

Education

  • Any Bachelor's Degree (Education, Communications or related Sciences preferred).

Minimum experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative staff work involving computer systems, digital records and online platforms, situated in an education or similar industry.
  • Provides administrative support to the Learning Technology manager in its various activities such as planning, strategizing, reporting, monitoring of the learning technology needs, academic innovation, and policy management of the various units within AIM.
  • Participates in, and contributes to the planning, development and execution of routine/prescribed tasks of the Office of the Dean, and of the special projects spearheaded by the office, to reach its desired outcomes.
  • Gives simple and intermediate non-pedagogical, technical support to learning technology users in AIM to help improve the overall experience of the academic community.
