Business Systems Analyst


  • This position is responsible for solving organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing the process flow, analyzing requirements, designing automated processes, recommending system control, protocols and for improvement based on industry trends
  • Must be capable of managing various business systems under his/her portfolio3. Assumes the role of business partner and liaison officer between business users and IT team

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, computer science and information technology or related courses
  • At least 5 solid years of Business Systems and Analysis
  • Preferably with experience in the Education Sector
  • Experience in any of the following business systems is a must, ERP, HR, FINANCE, Student Information System
  • Underwent a formal Project Management training is an advantage
  • Understanding of Six Sigma or any related framework is an advantage
  • Experience in running projects is an advantage
  • Experience in Software Design, Software Documentation, Software development Process, Software Requirements are a must
  • Experience in user training is an advantage16. Experience in System Integration Experience in Agile methodology and Scrum is an advantage
  • Interview all new clients technologies department heads to gain an understanding of current systems and structures
  • Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Identify inefficiencies and other bugs to be flushed out
  • Work with users and the design effective programming and software changes
  • Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
  • Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
  • Beta test all new software in isolated systems simulations
  • Integrate new software and hardware changes seamlessly to clients network
  • Observe and Identify all current and potential failures
  • Maintain a bug free user experience at all times
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Defines project requirements together with the Project Manager by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team;
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
  • Facilitates and accountable for User Acceptance Testing and Training
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Meeting with managers of different departments for feedback and assessment
  • Managing the relationship with the IT Team and the client and all stakeholders
