Data Scientist

Description

The Data Scientist will work with cross-functional team members within the ACCeSs laboratory in delivering high quality outputs for its various researches and engagements. He will help in facilitation and implementation of various initiatives of ACCeSs lab that aims to lead and promote the use of data science, artificial intelligence, and computational models to help industries, government agencies, and other sectors to innovate.

Education

  • A master’s degree in operations research, statistics, math, physics, mechanical engineering, machine learning or a related quantitative discipline

Minimum experience

  • At least 2 years experience in research.

Skills

  • Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong coding, problem-solving and data engineering skills.

    • Ability to understand different disciplines and combine them to find practical, innovative and sound solutions to a variety of problems/disciplines. Must be flexible in using various models and tools depending on project needs.
