Market Research Supervisor

Description

Initiates market research studies through third-party agency arrangements, designs and executes mini surveys through survey tools, generates reports, and analyzes data and insights to provide actionable recommendations for the brand, school units and the institution as a whole.

Minimum experience

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in market research

Business Understanding

  • Functional areas of Marketing and Information Technology
  • Initiates market research studies through 3rd party agencies by:
    • Developing the research brief
    • Thorough briefing of the 3rd party research agency
    • Coordinating and recruiting focus groups respondents
    • Managing survey distribution,
    • Liaising with respondents and managing their queries,
    • Ensuring swift payment of tokens to research participants
    • Sets up, manages, and facilitates research panels
    • Manages external suppliers to facilitate the delivery of research projects
  • Conducts survey design, fieldwork, and analysis to inform student recruitment and marketing activities
  • Collates, analyzes, and interprets data from a wide range of primary and secondary sources to support the Market Research & Analytics Manager
  • Maintains an up-to-date, online library of market research information
  • Collaborates with internal clients in the development of highly targeted marketing activities by providing data-based insights and proper database segmentation and profiling
  • Generates reports and dashboards for the business, providing recommendations and actionable insights based on data
