Makati, Philippines—The Asian Institute of Management (AIM), a recognized leader in global business education, launched its Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program on 15 May 2024, at the Aboitiz Tech Space, AIM campus. In an in-depth and engaging breakdown, Dr. Kang explained how the AIM Executive DBA helps leverage executive expertise into a rigorous dissertation that advances one’s field. 

The program fosters deep collaboration between seasoned professionals and academics, synergizing their knowledge, analytical tools, and experiences to create real-world solutions. This dynamic exchange deepens their theoretical understanding, equipping them with enhanced critical thinking and research skills for effective analysis, synthesis, and empirical application.  

Dr. Kang emphasized the program’s rigor, highlighting the need for unwavering self-motivation and strong supervisor communication. “Unless you are truly passionate and enthusiastic about your research topic, don’t start,” she advised. The Executive DBA program’s flexible, 36-month part-time hybrid format allows senior managers and C-Suite leaders to continue their career while earning a doctorate.
