The AIM UK alumni chapter got together in late 2017 at the newest restaurant of alumnus and restaurateur Harneet Baweja, MBM 2008. Baweja’s restaurant, called Gul and Sepoy, is his third and was the venue of the chapter’s biggest meeting to date.
The alumni enjoyed a fun-filled evening of good food and camaraderie, as is always the case when AIM alumni come together, thanks to the efforts of chapter president Rajesh Solanki, MBM 1999. Solanki is Executive Director at Zurich-based bank UBS.
A wide range of batches were represented encompassing 24 years, from 1988 to 2012.
The evening was made doubly memorable with the attendance of AIM professor Gill Stevens, who went back to the UK to spend time with family and friends. It was the first time Gill met the UK alumni, having spent the last five years teaching Leadership and People Management at AIM’s Manila campus.
