Asian Institute of Management

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is an Asian pioneer in management education. The Institute was founded in 1968 by a consortium of prominent business leaders, Philippine academic institutions, and the Harvard Business School.

Throughout its history, the Institute has sought to empower students to thrive in challenging, rapidly shifting environments. It achieves this by encouraging a more considerate, effective, and sustainable approach to business in society.

The general criteria for scholarship eligibility include:
  • excellent academic records;
  • strong professional achievements and career trajectory;
  • excellent written and oral English skills;
  • exceptional people skills; and
  • great leadership potential.

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is an Asian pioneer in management education. The Institute was founded in 1968 by a consortium of prominent business:

  1. plenary sessions addressed by keynote speakers;
  2. breakout sessions focusing on specific dynamics, learnings, and the best practices of companies;
  3. an expo showcasing specific company CSR programs; and
  4. optional field visits to innovative CSR programs sites in and around the city.

AIM is the first school in Southeast Asia to achieve accreditation from the US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) based on the world’s highest international standards.

Research Associate

Camille Caliso is a Research Associate whose research portfolio includes competition in the Philippine telecommunications industry, crime risk perceptions among Filipino households in the National Capital Region (NCR), competition policy, and Small and Medium Enterprises development.

The Institute is alma mater to a majority of directors at the 25 most valuable listed companies in the country. It is also the most preferred school* among 94 corporate directors interviewed by Forbes magazine.

AIM Excellence Scholarships Full Scholarships, including room and board

The Asian Institute of Management is located within the Makati Central Business District (CBD). It is around 6 kilometers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The institute occupies one city block along Paseo de Roxas and is just across the Greenbelt 1 shopping arcade. The arcade itself has restaurants, movie houses, shops, and a supermarket, which can be seen from the AIM lobby.

Requirements:

  • Excellent performance across all of the MBA score criteria
  • Review by the AIM President or Dean

Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship ProgramFull scholarships, including room and board and living expenses

The Asian Development Bank (ADB), with funding from the government of Japan, established the ADB-JSP Scholarship Program to encourage and strengthen human resource development in 1988. It is one of the most important sources of financial assistance for graduate students in the Asia Pacific region. AIM was one of the first ADB-designated institutions to receive scholarship funding for deserving students. Upon graduation, the scholars are expected to contribute to economic and social development in their home countries.

  • This Scholarship is open to all nationals of ADB-borrower countries
  • Applicant should not have any prior master’s or doctoral degree(s).
  • Requirement: (1) Submit ADB-JSP Information Sheet Form, (2) Certificate of Annual Income; (3) Notarized Affidavit of Family Income; (4) Transcript of Records/Mark Sheets with Grade Point Average or General Weighted Average.
  • Student applicant should agree to return to his/her home country after completion of the AIM MDM degree

AIM-GT Metro Foundation ScholarshipsFull Scholarships, including room and board, one round-trip airfare, and stipend

  • This Scholarship is open to all male Filipino applicants
  • Employed in Saudi Arabia
  • Requirement: (1) Interview with an ALJ representative
