Out of hundreds of applicants, 28 young leaders were carefully selected to be part of this year’s cohort of the Asian Institute of Management’s TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leaderships’ Future Bridging Leaders Program (FBLP).

FBLP 2 1st Workshop

The third run of the Center’s flagship program welcomed fellows from different parts of the Philippines to start their journey as #YOUthInnovatingForChange in their chosen fields. Their social change projects range from agriculture to mental health, from employment to eco-tourism, from education to efforts addressing the plights of persons deprived of liberty. This year, FBLP is working with more social enterprises for sustainability.

The first workshop focused on Ownership and revolved around self-mastery and awareness of the complex environments where societal divides are present. Sessions on personal vision, systems thinking, design and innovation, and results-based project development helped prime fellows in their upcoming work of co-developing their change ideas and prototypes with their communities.

Sessions and learning activities were conducted by esteemed core and adjunct AIM faculty including Prof. Jacinto Gavino, Prof. Nieves Confesor, Prof. Fernando Roxas, Prof. Ronald Chua, Prof. Richard Cruz and AIM TeaM Energy Center Associate Director Ms. Junica Soriano.
