Sales and Events Supervisor

DESCRIPTION

The Sales and Events Supervisor sell and markets the conference facilities and manages accounts to achieve individual and group targets and ensure customer satisfaction; supervises the daily operations of the department in accordance with the guidelines and set standards to achieve revenue targets, providing excellent guest experience and positive employee engagement.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management, Management, or any related course; Masters in related or Business degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, sales, marketing, customer relations; good network in the business community; experienced in dealing with different kinds of people; very good interpersonal communication skills; leadership and management skills; personable

BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING

  • Functional areas of Sales, Marketing, customer service, food and beverage, basic finance and accounting; familiarity in Hotel Management System; good written and verbal communication skills

  • Revenue Generation: Responsible for generating sales, hitting individual quota and contributing to the overall group quota on Food and Beverage (F&B), and Guest Rooms revenue.
  • Generates of new accounts to monitoring and achievement of results increase client database.
  • Develops customized packages based on client’s specifications with the correct charging of function rooms, guest rooms, food & beverages and other miscellaneous costs.
  • Monitors payments of clients and assist Finance Department in following up Follows and maintains the systematic way of booking events and coordinating with other Account Executives to ensure maximum use of function rooms.
  • Prepares all documents related to events with correct information for the client and departments concerned.
  • Prepares and submits complete and accurate reports (daily, weekly, monthly) in a timely manner.
  • Maintains existing business relations with current and old clients through excellent customer service and effective communication skills leading to sales conversion and referrals.
  • Occasionally monitors events and checks clients/events
  • Coordinates regularly with F&B concessionaire and other departments for smooth flow in operations.
  • Assists and helps in strategizing and implementing sales and marketing plans. 
  • Prepares and consolidates required reports.
