Data Science and AI – Research Scientist/Engineer
DESCRIPTION
The DSAI Research Scientist/Engineer will play a key role in advancing the Institute’s research initiatives in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, complex systems, network science, and related fields. In addition to conducting research, the individual will actively contribute to the lab’s educational initiatives by nurturing future data science leaders and researchers and promoting the application of DSAI to drive innovation across industry, government, and other sectors.
Education: At least a master’s degree for the Research Engineer position or a doctoral degree for the Research Scientist position in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline
Minimum Experience: At least three to five years of research experience
Job Specifications
- Publish research in high-impact international journals and conference proceedings.
- Present research findings to the public through colloquiums, seminars, workshops, and scientific conferences.
- Mentor students enrolled in the AIM PhD in Data Science and/or Master of Science in Data Science programs.
- Participate in panel discussions and public forums to share insights on DSAI and promote the initiatives of the ACCeSs Lab.
- Collaborate effectively with researchers, scientists, engineers, and other ACCeSs Lab team members to achieve shared research objectives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Managing Director or Deputy Managing Director.
