HRIS Supervisor

DESCRIPTION

The HRIS Supervisor is responsible for the effective administration of the HR information system, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data, and providing technical support to HR staff and employees. The role involves data management, reporting, system maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR processes through the use of technology.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HRIS administration or a similar role
  • Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM), MS Office Suite (especially Excel), and data management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL or other database query languages; experience in Power BI
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
  • Certification in HRIS or related field is a plus

System Administration

  • Maintain and update the HRIS with employee information, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage system configurations, security roles, and user access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues, escalating to vendors or IT support when necessary.

Data Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data into the HRIS.
  • Conduct regular data audits to maintain data quality and compliance with policies.
  • Manage data migration and integration from other systems.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for HR and management.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using PowerBI to visualize key HR metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure that all reporting complies with legal requirements and organizational standards.

Training and Support

  • Train HR staff and employees in the use of the HRIS.
  • Develop user guides and training materials.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and assistance to users. 

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement new HRIS features and functionalities.
  • Stay updated on HR technology trends and best practices.

Compliance and Security

  • Ensure HRIS compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect HR data.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of HRIS policies and procedures.
