Learning Technology and Systems Support Associate
DESCRIPTION
The Learning Technology and Systems Support Associate is responsible for the system administration, technical maintenance, and user support of the Learning Management System of the Institute; assists the Learning Technology Manager in order to seamlessly deliver learning technology activities within AIM; and helps in facilitating innovation towards the improvement of the team’s services, activities and overall work environment.
Education
- Any Bachelor’s degree – Education, Communications or related Sciences preferred
Minimum Experience
- At least two (2) years of experience in administrative staff work involving computer systems, digital records, online helpdesk, and online platforms
Administrative Support
- Handles day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including creation and deletion of user accounts, course creation, and tool integrations (LTIs).
- Resolve technical support tickets on LMS issues, software access, and tool failures.
- Test system updates, document platform bugs, and coordinate with central IT for major server or database updates.
- Create technical troubleshooting guides and FAQs to minimize repetitive user issues.
Special Projects
- Participates in, and contributes to the planning, development and execution of routine/prescribed tasks of the Office of the Dean, and of the special projects spearheaded by the office, to reach its desired outcomes
Instructional Design Support
- Gives simple and intermediate nonpedagogical, technical support to learning technology users in AIM to help improve the overall experience of the academic community
