Sales and Events Senior Supervisor
DESCRIPTION
The Sales and Events Senior Supervisor is responsible for marketing and selling conference facilities, managing accounts to achieve individual and group targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also supervises the department’s daily operations in accordance with established guidelines and standards to achieve revenue targets, deliver an excellent guest experience, and promote positive employee engagement.
EDUCATION
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree in a related field or Business is preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, sales, marketing, or customer relations; a strong network in the business community; experience dealing with diverse individuals; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong leadership and management skills; and a personable demeanor.
BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING
- Functional knowledge in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Food and Beverage, and basic Finance and Accounting; familiarity with Hotel Management Systems; and good written and verbal communication skills

- Revenue Generation: Responsible for generating sales, meeting individual quotas, and contributing to the overall group quota for Food and Beverage (F&B) and Guest Room revenue.
- Generate new accounts and monitors performance to achieve targets and expand the client database.
- Develop customized packages based on clients’ specifications, with the correct charging of function rooms, guest rooms, food and beverages, and other miscellaneous costs.
- Monitor client payments and assists the Finance Department in following up.
- Follow and maintains a systematic way of booking events and coordinating with other Account Executives to ensure the maximum use of function rooms.
- Prepare all documents related to events with accurate information for the client and concerned departments.
- Prepare and submits complete and accurate reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) in a timely manner.
- Maintain business relationships with current and former clients through excellent customer service and effective communication skills, leading to sales conversion and referrals.
- Occasionally monitor events and checks on clients/events.
- Coordinate regularly with the F&B concessionaire and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Assist in strategizing and implementing sales and marketing plans.
- Prepare and consolidates required reports.
