Student Recruitment Director

DESCRIPTION

The Student Recruitment Director is mainly responsible for reaching new enrollment targets per 
intake, driving institutional enrollment growth by developing and executing strategic, data-driven, 
and innovative recruitment initiatives. They shall set the short-, medium- and long-term strategies 
vision for student recruitment, lead and mentor the student recruitment team, and collaborate with 
executive leadership, marketing, and admissions teams to achieve enrollment targets. 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • At least 10 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, sales, or business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a higher education or academic setting is strongly preferred.

BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING

  • Expertise in student recruitment, enrollment management, marketing, admissions, and financial aid strategies, with a strong grasp of CRM/MarTech tools for recruitment efficiency. Awareness of higher education trends and competitive landscapes is a plus.

Strategic Planning & Execution 

  • Develop and implement overall recruitment strategies based on past campaign performance, setting clear targets per campaign for processes (TAT) and performance (CVR and NE). 
  • Formulate cost-effective student recruitment strategies and collaborate with the Marketing team for execution. 
  • Conceptualize and implement admissions-related financial assistance programs aligned with institutional priorities

Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve enrollment targets across all programs as identified by the executive team. 
  • Marketing Technology, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence 
  • Drive implementation of MarTech tools and ensure efficiency. 
  • Ensure adoption of Student Recruitment Team members of use of CRM platform, working with CRM team to maintain data hygiene 
  • Work with Marketing to direct data analysis efforts in relation to education trends, student profiles, etc., to support strategic decision-making. 

Operational Excellence & Technology Integration

  • Direct the implementation of policies and procedures to support admission strategies  

Stakeholder Engagement & Representation  

  • Represent the Institute to its prospective learners and partners, as required and needed. 

Team Leadership & Development  

  • Mentor and coach recruitment team members, ensuring their professional growth and performance.  
  • Foster a high-performance culture, enabling recruitment teams to meet and exceed targets through training and leadership support.
