Leaders in the Age of AI
Build the judgment and verification skills to turn AI-assisted insights into sound, accountable business decisions.
Program Overview
AI is already influencing how organizations analyze information, develop recommendations, and make decisions. The real leadership challenge is knowing what to trust, what to verify, and when to act. The Leader in the Age of AI is a one-day executive masterclass that equips decision-makers with the judgment and practical frameworks to navigate AI-assisted work with greater confidence and accountability.
Through business cases, live demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants will learn to verify AI outputs, brief AI for decision-ready recommendations, stress-test AI-generated proposals, and identify risks before they are amplified. The program culminates in a practical Opportunity Brief that transforms AI-assisted analysis into a clear, accountable leadership decision.
Details
Program Objectives:
- Explain how generative AI actually works. Prediction, not verification and why it produces fluent, confident output even when it is wrong
- Identify the five risk categories of workplace AI use (data privacy, hallucination, over-reliance, intellectual property, and accountability gaps) and apply clear boundaries on what must never enter a public AI tool
- Apply the O.W.N.S. verification habit to any AI output: checking facts, organizational fit, sources, and defensibility, before approving or signing it
- Construct effective AI briefs using the B.A.S.I.C.S. framework to convert vague, generic output into costed, decision-ready options with a clear recommendation
- Stress-test AI-generated recommendations through Build & Destroy: directing a Devil’s Advocate to attack a proposal, then deciding what survives
- Recognize premature automation as an amplified risk, understanding that automating an unverified AI process scales the same error faster, before anyone checks it
- Produce a one-page Opportunity Brief that converts AI-assisted analysis into an accountable leadership decision: the opportunity, the risks in two layers (business and AI-use), the unknowns, and the call
Who Should Attend:
This program is designed for senior executives and C-suite leaders, middle to senior managers, business owners, and entrepreneurs who are responsible for making or guiding AI-influenced business decisions. It is also relevant for human resources, learning and development (L&D), risk, and compliance professionals leading organizational AI readiness, responsible AI practices, and leadership capability.
