Career Services Office Sr. Manager (Strategic Relations)
DESCRIPTION
The Career Service Office (CSO) Sr. Manager operationalizes the strategies of the Career Services Office, establish and cultivate relationships to facilitate their talent attraction program.
Education: Master’s degree or postgraduate degree in Business Management, Communications or related field.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in career services, business development, marketing, or a closely related field, with at least three (3) years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns, particularly within educational or professional services environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team towards achieving strategic objectives and marketing goals.
- Proficient in market analysis, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively articulating the value of career services to various stakeholders.
Career Coaching, Advising, and Counseling
- Consider a range of career development theories and apply for clients’ needs based on individual client qualities.
- Present career issues including career planning and employability skills.
- Consider a range of theoretical approaches to career development in creating students’ ILPs.
- Create new interventions, models, or theories for career coaching/advising/counseling.
Teaching, Training and Educating
- Lead departamental assessment efforts.
- Use results to determine the effectiveness of career services’ program and return on investment, and to set future direction.
- Determine the effectiveness of program/workshop design and delivery, and use results to guide evidence-based decision making regarding future program budget, design, and delivery.
- Implement changes as deemed necessary to improve program services.
- Determine the efficacy or career coaching techniques used at different developmental stages.
