Leading the crisis response, paving a resilient tomorrow

The Executive Master in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management (EMDRCM) program equips individuals with the essential skills to assess, strategize, and make evidence-based decisions, while aligning with international frameworks for disaster risk reduction, sustainable development, crisis management, and climate action.

This 18-month online program is meticulously designed to resonate with the United Nations’ Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, Sustainable Development Goals 2015-2030, the Agenda for Humanity, and the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference Agreement. Our student body comprises executives and leaders from diverse backgrounds, fostering collaboration to address real-world challenges, develop measurable interventions, and integrate multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary aspects of DRCM into their management skills.

The program’s curriculum provides training in the following concentration areas: Organizational Resilience, Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development, and Crisis and Humanitarian Emergency Management. There will also be immersive capstone projects, wherein graduates critically analyze problems and offer actionable recommendations to mitigate social, environmental, and climate-related risks. This hands-on approach fosters a deeper level of engagement and retention, preparing the graduates to navigate challenges effectively in their own discipline.
