Digital Marketing and Market Intelligence Manager

DESCRIPTION

The Digital Marketing and Market Intelligence Manager oversees all digital assets of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), ensuring a strong and dynamic online presence for the AIM brand and its schools. The role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy that supports the institution’s overall brand vision and objectives, ensuring that plans are in place or being actively developed to future-proof AIM’s digital marketing initiatives. 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field is required; A master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Digital Strategy, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, preferably in higher education, professional services, or fast-paced environments, with a strong track record in running campaigns across web, social, and paid media. Must be skilled in SEO/SEM, website and CRM management, email and content marketing, and marketing analytics. Experience leading teams, working with cross-functional groups, and managing external agencies is essential.

  • Should understand how digital marketing drives brand visibility, student recruitment, and lead generation across the education sector. Familiarity with digital funnels, audience segmentation, and campaign performance metrics is key to aligning marketing strategies with institutional goals.

Strategy Development and Execution 

  • Develops the digital marketing strategy aligned with AIM’s brand vision and institutional goals. 
  • Updates and refines digital marketing plans on a quarterly basis, securing the necessary approvals. 

Search Engine Optimization 

  • Designs and implements SEO strategies to secure top search engine rankings for AIM and its schools, driving visibility and organic traffic growth 
  • Works with Corporate Communications team and ICT to ensure implementation of SEO campaign 

Content Roadmap and Management of digital ads 

  • Develops a comprehensive content roadmap to ensure consistent, relevant, and engaging advertising content across all digital platforms.

Digital Campaign Management 

  • Plans, launches, and manages all digital marketing campaigns for the AIM brand, its schools, and non-school units. 
  • Monitors campaign performance, analyzes metrics, and optimizes initiatives to achieve lead generation and engagement targets. 
  • Manages agency partner/s in running performance marketing campaigns. 
  • In the absence of an agency partner, handles media buying and ad placement for the institute. 
  • Provides regular performance reporting of ad campaigns and owned digital assets using available tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, Google Search Console, SEMRush, etc. 

Marketing Technology and CRM 

  • Works with Marketing Technology Department to ensure proper campaign set-up within the CRM and BI platforms. 

Market Intelligence 

  • Leads in the market research conducted by the Marketing Department using digital media monitoring tools by providing guidance to team members on culling data from owned digital assets and CRM platform 

Team Leadership and Collaboration  

  • Leads, mentors, and develops the Digital Marketing and Market Intelligence team to achieve individual and team goals. 
  • Fosters strong collaboration with the Integrated Marketing and Student Recruitment Group (IMSG), academic schools, and non-school units to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
