Technology is constantly changing. The world is moving at a fast pace to make transactions more seamless and efficient every day. Aware of this reality, AIM keeps itself updated with degree programs that cover the latest and most relevant trends and technologies. Last December 14, 2022, AIM’s Aboitiz School of Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (ASITE) provided an opportunity for potential and existing industry partners to get together during an exclusive dinner. All throughout the event, invited guests were informed and inspired by the different degree programs geared towards innovation and technology, the very thrusts of ASITE.
ASITE came in full force with the presence of AIM President and Dean, Jikyeong Kang, ASITE School Head Christopher Monterola, Master in Innovation and Business (MIB) Academic Program Director Rafael “Rico” Camus, Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) Academic Program Director Erika Legara, and Career Services Office (CSO) Director Lucille Jade Galvan. A great mix of industry reports and capstone projects for the MIB and MSDS programs were presented showcasing the graduates’ practical and innovative solutions to real-life business problems. Moreover, alumni testimonials fortified the quality of education as they shared how their careers advanced after having fulfilled their AIM degree programs. ASITE also introduced its latest degree program; the first bachelor’s degree program offered by AIM. The Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Business Administration program (BSDSBA) is a double-degree program in partnership with the C.T. Bauer College of Business – University of Houston. The event was an opportune time for networking as guests conversed with representatives from ASITE and other companies throughout the affair.
The ASITE Exclusive Executive Dinner Event was a hodgepodge of information sessions, valued testimonials, and networking that piqued the interest of the attendees. ASITE degree programs were spotlighted to showcase how these degree programs have continued to truly benefit students’ learning and ultimately impact the workplace by providing practical and innovative solutions to real-life business problems, thus inspiring potential and existing partners to contribute to the new MSDS and MIB cohorts of students who are driven to become innovative, technological, and robust solution providers.
AIM would like to thank its company partner, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, Inc. (ICCPI), for providing the wine for the dinner during this exclusive event.
