MAKATI, Philippines — In a strategic move to elevate retail leadership, the Asian Institute of Management School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (AIM-SEELL) and Watsons Personal Care Stores Philippines has signed a Memorandum of Agreement to launch the Sales Operations Management Development Program. This partnership, celebrated at the Institute’s main campus in Makati, was attended by Watsons’ People & OD and Sales Operations Senior Leaders in person and virtually, marking the beginning of a customized corporate program specifically designed to empower Watsons' Sales Operations leadership team.

Reflecting Watsons’ long-term vision, AIM-SEELL has tailored a curriculum that incorporates case studies, action-learning projects, and interactive workshops designed to foster leadership skills that will be immediately applicable to Watsons' workplace dynamics. Emerging leaders who aspire to enhance their capabilities in sales leadership, customer-centric operations, and impactful decision-making will benefit from the program’s face-to-face sessions, personalized coaching, and action-based learning projects.

Participants were welcomed by Positive Workplaces CEO, John Baluyot, who shared insights on the evolving role of leadership in business success. Reflecting on the need for strategic thinking, Mr. Baluyot recalled, “One of my mentors always said, ‘Being strategic is about predicting long-term changes in the future.’ Leadership today isn’t just about responding to the present—it’s about preparing for what’s next.”
