AIM Business Club Makes History with Landmark BPI Partnership
MAKATI CITY, Philippines — In a historic first, the undergraduate student-organized AIM Business Club (ABC) has entered into a formal partnership with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), marking the student organization as the first of its kind to collaborate directly with the bank. This alliance aims to create a bridge between academic learning and real-world financial expertise, giving ABC members exclusive access to financial education, banking solutions, and career-building opportunities.
The MOA signing brought together BPI leaders Christina Isaac-Delfin, Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, Monzit Purugganan and Joseph Christian “JC” Golez, Strategic Partnerships & Channel Management Officers, and Jacques Jimeno, Acquisition Officer for NEXT by BPI Preferred. Representing ABC were President Brandon Rosales, Vice President Robin San Diego, and Director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Donyl Alcantara.

Empowering Future Leaders with Practical Financial Skills
This partnership is designed to equip students with practical financial knowledge that extends beyond textbooks. By leveraging BPI’s 174-year legacy and the “NEXT by BPI Preferred” program, ABC members will gain tools for personal wealth management, financial wellness, and responsible economic decision-making. The collaboration also aims to extend its reach beyond campus, utilizing ABC’s influence in Makati City’s Local Youth Development Council to promote financial inclusion at the community level.
Through initiatives such as financial wellness talks and interactive programs like the NEXTperience Caravan, the partnership ensures that ABC members not only learn theoretical business concepts but also apply them in real-life situations. This historic collaboration sets a new standard for student engagement with the financial sector, equipping the next generation of business leaders with the knowledge and experience to thrive in an increasingly complex economy.
