The AIM Scientific Research Foundation, Inc. (AIM SRF) was invited to a special recognition ceremony at Malacañang Palace, honoring its significant contribution to the Philippines’ successful exit from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Grey List.
AIM SRF was one of only seven entities selected to represent the country’s non-profit organizations during the FATF evaluation. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) identified AIM SRF as a model organization to participate in the face-to-face panel discussion with FATF members, demonstrating the Foundation’s exemplary practices and standards.
The successful audit result led to the Philippines’ official removal from the FATF Grey List – a development with far-reaching benefits for the nation. This achievement makes it easier and less expensive for remittances to flow in and out of the country, bringing substantial advantages to the Philippines’ banking sector, real estate industry, financial institutions, and non-profit community.
The AIM SRF participation in this process reflects the organization’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and financial governance. This recognition underscores the Foundation’s leadership within the non-profit sector and brings honor to the institution.
