Global AIM MBA Experience: Transform Your Leadership Through Global Network Week

In boardrooms from the Philippines to Mexico, Brazil to USA, France to India, Switzerland to Poland, Nigeria to Singapore, United Kingdom to South Korea, Sweden to Kenya, just to name a few, Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Master in Business Administration (MBA) students are taking part in conversations shaping our world. The AIM-Washington Sycip Graduate School of Business (AIM-WSGSB), in partnership with the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), delivers this transformative global experience through Global Network Week (GNW) – an immersive MBA journey that redefines international business education.

What makes our MBA global experience unique?

Our MBA students live international business through immersive exchanges at partner institutions worldwide, twice a year.

What is the Global Network for Advanced Management?

Founded in 2012 by Yale School of Management, GNAM is an alliance of 30+ top-tier business schools spanning six continents, including Yale (USA), HEC Paris (France), Fudan University School of Management (China), IE Business School (Spain), the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (South Africa), Hitotsubashi ICS (Japan), and the Asian Institute of Management (Philippines), among others.

Together, these schools form a dynamic network committed to providing students with access to a global classroom—one that is as rigorous as it is diverse. It offers deep regional insights, rich cultural exchange, and unparalleled exposure to the interconnected nature of today’s business world.

MBA Global Experience Components

  • Thematic Learning: Explore regionally relevant business challenges taught by expert faculty with local case studies.
  • Cross-Cultural Collaboration: MBA students from diverse backgrounds tackle real-world problems together.
  • Industry Access: Gain direct engagement with local business ecosystems through company visits and executive lectures.
  • Cultural Intelligence: Experience deep immersion in local customs, economic systems, and business practices.

Why GNW Matters

GNW goes beyond the classroom to create a transformative leadership experience for its participants. For our MBA students, the benefits are profound:

  • Exposure to New Markets: Gain real-time insights into the economic, political, and cultural contexts shaping business in different parts of the world.
  • Global Leadership Skills: Develop the communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills required to lead international teams and initiatives.
  • New Perspectives: By learning from peers and professors with diverse worldviews, students are challenged to think differently and innovate across borders.

As globalization continues to reshape industries and economies, experiences like GNW are more relevant than ever for MBA students. They embody a new model of business education that is global, flexible, and practice-based. GNW is not just about acquiring knowledge—it’s about learning to lead with empathy, curiosity, and cultural fluency in a world where borders matter less than connections.
