AIM Launches Certificate Program to Boost Startup Management Education

On 10 July 2025, the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) marked a significant milestone with the official launch of the Postgraduate Certificate in Startup Business Management (PGCSBM)—a pioneering program developed through a strategic collaboration between the School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (SEELL), the Dado Banatao Incubator (AIM-DBI), and a vibrant network of startup founders.

To formalize this groundbreaking partnership, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony was held at the Institute’s Makati campus. The event brought together key figures from the startup and innovation ecosystem, underscoring a shared commitment to nurturing future-ready entrepreneurs across the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

“This is the first time that we are offering a program in Executive Education specifically for startups,” said Prof. Alberto G. Mateo, Jr., Head of AIM-SEELL. “We’re very excited to finally enter this space—powered by your proven track records and the AIM way of doing things. When academic institutions, incubators, and founders come together, we create real potential for transformation across industries in the Philippines.”
