AIM and Teleperformance Philippines Seal Partnership for Emerging Leaders Development Series
MAKATI CITY, Philippines — The Asian Institute of Management’s School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (AIM-SEELL) and Teleperformance Philippines formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing for the launch of the Emerging Leaders Development Series. The collaboration represents a strategic step in developing future-ready leaders who can navigate today’s fast-evolving business environment.
Present at the signing were Mr. Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of Teleperformance Philippines, Mr. Inkee Hidalgo, Vice President – Learning and Development of Teleperformance Philippines, and Professor. Alberto G. Mateo Jr., Head of AIM-SEELL.
Designed exclusively for Teleperformance’s high-potential leaders, the program blends the Institute’s academic excellence with Teleperformance’s strong culture of people development. Through immersive learning sessions, mentoring, and action learning projects, participants will strengthen their ability to innovate, manage people effectively, and lead with a global perspective.
Prof. Mateo emphasized that leadership development is an investment with a far-reaching ripple effect. “People do as people see. It’s not about the cost of doing it but the investment that you’re actually making for these leaders. Once they become good leaders and decision-makers, all the people around them will be inspired to do the same. If all the people around us are really inspired to do their very best in the interest of the company, then transformation will happen. Once a company transforms, the industry will transform — and as the BPO industry transforms, our beloved Philippines will also transform in the process.”
Echoing this vision, Mr. Johnson highlighted the alignment with Teleperformance’s values.
“Lifelong learning is something that we firmly believe in — it’s part of our DNA. This strategic partnership with AIM is another example of how lifelong learning is integrated into everything we do. I’m inspired by Prof. Albert’s words earlier: ‘lead, inspire, transform.’ This program is a great example of how our leaders at Teleperformance are expected to continue that journey, and how we are investing in that.”
The Emerging Leaders Development Series is structured around three core focus areas: Empathy and Innovation, People and Operations, and Global Executive Leadership. Modules include Design Thinking and Business Model Innovation, Innovating with Generative AI, Adaptive Leadership, Strategic Project Design and Management, and Global Leadership and Change Management.
A key feature of the series is the integration of Action Learning Projects (ALPs), which will challenge participants to apply classroom insights directly to Teleperformance’s organizational priorities. Faculty mentors from AIM, together with Teleperformance sponsors, will guide participants to ensure the learning translates into tangible workplace impact.
The program will run through November, with a second cohort scheduled for 2026. Participants who complete the series will also earn AIM alumni status and stackable postgraduate certificate units in Leadership and Management, underscoring the academic rigor of the partnership.
Through this initiative, AIM-SEELL and Teleperformance reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing leadership excellence, preparing emerging leaders to meet challenges with empathy, innovation, and strategic foresight.
