AIM – Career Services Office strengthens partnerships with BPI, GCash, SGV, Collabera through Career Trek sessions

The Career Services Office (CSO) of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) held a series of information sessions targeted towards current students with several private partner institutions, namely Collabera Digital, SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.) Ernst & Young Philippines, GCash, and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), as a means to encourage potential career growth. These “Career Trek” sessions have proven to be an integral part of the support given by the CSO to current students, providing a wealth of information for those seeking employment after their degree program.

Top-flight management spoke with AIM students that participated in these Career Trek sessions.

The participants, mostly full-time students from the International Masters in Business Administration (iMBA) and Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) programs who are exploring job options, were given an immersive, in-depth dialogue and exchange with industry partners and potential employers. Atypical of a usual information session, it was an in-depth activity for each industry partner as the participants were given tours of facilities and included opportunities for one-on-one exchange with industry leaders and top management.

CSO will hold Career Trek sessions throughout the academic year, ensuring students and alumni from diverse programs are familiarized with the inner workings of different prospective employers. Through this initiative, AIM is hopeful to foster these relationships and expand the personal and professional networks of each student.
