Asian Institute of Management and Philippine Chamber of Singapore Ink Memorandum of Understanding to Bridge Education and Innovation

MAKATI, Philippines – The Asian Institute of Management Career Services Office (AIM-CSO) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (PhilCham Singapore) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), forging a partnership centered around developing and fostering professional development opportunities.

Dr. Jikyeong Kang, AIM President and Dean, welcomed guests from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce Singapore, stating, “I officially welcome both of you, and more importantly, I look forward to building a long-term, sustainable relationship.”

She spoke about the thriving startup ecosystem at AIM and the Master in Innovation and Business (MIB) program, saying, “You will have mentorship and projects in various sectors, including agriculture, and learn a lot in terms of business process innovation, technology and innovation, and AI and innovation by going through the program.” She noted the MIB program’s success, emphasizing the exceptional caliber of its students.

Roy Anthony R. Aluquin, PhilCham Singapore Assistant Treasurer and an AIM Master in Business Management alumnus, expressed a strong commitment to the engagement: “On behalf of the PhilCham Singapore, we look forward to the programs we can create and organize. We want a live collaboration.”

Tina Nepomuceno-Di Cicco, PhilCham Singapore Co-Founder, also shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting key intersection points where PhilCham Singapore and AIM can collaborate. She affirmed her shared vision with AIM—to cultivate a stronger innovation ecosystem.

This MOU cements a strategic bridge between the Philippines and Singapore, merging the elite education and startup prowess from AIM with PhilCham Singapore’s robust network, creating pathways for hands-on experience, mentorship, and cross-border growth.
